1970 Triumph T100 Spark Plug Gap

Circuits normally get blocked at the narrowest spot is the jet, but can get blocked elsewhere but to affect the circuit the blockage needs to result in a hole smaller than the jet.
Thanks for the info. I can 100% say the Premiere PJ is not blocked. As I said I'll take the carb off at some stage & have a good inspection/clean of all the circuits.

It's bugging me now why the bike is running relatively so well but with a setup that does not make sense!!

Ok, minor update.

I’ve removed & diassembled the carb to check all the jets, passageways & float height.

Didn’t find anything wrong or out of place, float bowl is level/flat etc.

Double checked the choke mechanism & it pulls all the way up when choke is off.

I'll reassemble, install on bike & do another test of the fuel level.

I'll put new plugs in & re-test.
