Seeing these pics prompted me to read the Dunstall tuning guide again. The wheel tuning is relevant to my current BSA build too. I am not sure what the rules are about posting the Dunstall tuning guide. I bought a pdf copy of it on eBay years ago. I would like to post it here, but don’t want to get in trouble with copy rules.

Seeing as the Dunstall company is long since gone by the wayside, I can’t see who would casue any trouble ?

Some judicious cleaning, including using the dish soap/water/aluminum foil method on the chrome will net thou$ands more.

The Aussie compiler of the various CD's and DVD's of marque parts lists and workshop manuals had the cheek to add his own copyright to the PDF's, as he had scanned and copied them himself he broke copyright himself. Copyright last for 70 years after the authors death. So as Paul Dunstall is alive and kicking at least in 2016 and Andover Norton do pay fees to him for printed copies of his tuning notes I would leave alone.

Ok- thanks for researching

yea , looks like it maybe single carb . Theres one or two pictures of similar on photowotsit . One Dual heat the oil disc calipers .

the ' Build Sheet ' containing the Dunstall Spec's would definately be usefull . try to trace / liberate / copy that , if you can .

Close up of that front brake ? Maybe the Tri T L S & Commando T L S started as Dunstall Equipment . Definately the Tri. one .

to tidy to go to a butcher or madman . Consideration of someone who will maintaun its originallity & not over restore it ,
should take presidance over optimum loot . Theyre only original once . That needs little more than strip & tidy etc to gettit like new .
Hi I think it has handed Monoblocs as the float chamber side cover would be on the left if single Monobloc. I think.

I have too much time to look at Norton photos. I have a weeks vacation and it has pissed with rain every day so far.

Re ;Interesting rear shocks.
They are plastic covers.
Re; Did Dunstall create build sheets for these specials? Would be interesting to find out what is inside the motor.
Dunstall as far as I remember, built to order to suit the customers pocket if buyer didn't want full Dunstall specifications .
As I myself discovered, cam can be hit or miss, that is his own street cams can be so far out a standard out of the crate Atlas wouldn't been quicker!

A couple of interesting points that I have spotted, first i t still has Monoblock's on as assuming its a 750 the Atlas had 389/689 Monoblock's for 1966 only in mid 1967 they went to concentric's though it looks like it is fitted with a points set up which was 1967 and later did a Monoblock flow better that a concentric? it also appears that the rev counter drive is slanted as per early 1960's Dommies as both my Atlas & 650SS [1966 &'67] have the drive vertical, an early or redrilled timing cover? maybe to clear the Siamese exhaust?

Forgive me for correcting your comments, that is not a siamese exhaust, it's a pair of racing type swept backs with what was Dunstall's own version of exhaust balance pipe.
I think you are right about the rev counter gearbox not being vertical.
