The bike looks stunning. Great work!My long term '55 T110 restoration is complete. I am in the process of breaking in the engine and it is running great! Lots of pep, no smoke, and lots of fun.
Hi
Are you getting that classic pre unit snarl as you let her rev out?150 miles into the break in and the engine is running great. I have been giving it the berries through the gears and it has plenty of go, without a trace of smoke. Although it feels completely broken in I am still holding back a bit until it has more miles. Probably the most fun to ride bike I have ever restored.

Indeed! It looks so pretty, but sounds so mean. Good stuff. Are you getting that classic pre unit snarl as you let her rev out?
I agree. The Shell Blue Sheen set off by the styling bands with the small Triumph badge is, to me, one of the best looking of all.Pretty close to perfection, in my eyes.
Maybe an Amaranth Red Speed Twin would rank a notch higher. Only because that was etched into my brain as a kid...
Wow. Cool.
Absolutely, I would have been very careful with the patina. While projecting myself as the possible next owner I was contemplating the best way to get the bike on the road without disturbing too much. But it ended up being a pipe dream.Personally, I'd have done an "oily rag" / make-run on that one, and ride as-was...

Nice enough (REALLY), but a thumper will never be a twin (and vice versa)I saw this listing you may be interested in: 1938 Triumph 5H Deluxe https://www.trademe.co.nz/3732249925
