Looks like I have caused some interest on the MAG plays Electronic debate, think I will stick with what I have for the time being and try it out.

My swing arm build started today will post up some pictures soon, needs a bit of milling action to start the next stage, also ordered up some bronze welding rods to use with the TIG welder looking forward to seeing how this goes.

Thanks for all the replies.

Respect Paul. That’s a lot of work for something that’s available off the shelf, and I have to confess, I’d have probably taken the easy option!

But isn't that what its about building a bike doing as much as you can with your own two hands and once its on the road looking at what you have acived, its a good feeling.

Agreed Ash. We all have to draw the line based on our circumstances though. I’ve designed and made my own frames from scratch before. But my current shop facilities and time constraints prohibit such these days!

Thanks guys

I guess although its a well trodden path building a Triton I am hoping to do my own twist and making the swing arm is just one of the parts that will do that, really looking forward to getting it mocked up.
