The link connects to a site which contains superb video of the North West 200 road races, held this last week, 15, 16, 18th May, 2019, in Northern Island on public roads.
Superb weather for Thursday racing, absolute crap for Saturday, but the races were run despite the difficulties.
No short circuit scratching here, this is a different ball game altogether.
 
Do you know what happened to the Norton’s?

Particularly the Superlight twins?
 
McGuiness was listed as a non qualifier for both Superbike and Supertwin classes
 
I can't be certain, but it appears that McGuiness did not complete the required number of qualifying laps for both Superbike and Supertwin.
Speed trap times recorded for the Norton Superbike, best was 193 mph (6th fastest), the class fastest being 195 mph.
The Norton Supertwin's best speedtrap was 129.7 mph, which does not compare too well with the fastest speed trap time of the session, of 157 mph. 15 riders had speeds topping 150 mph in this qualifying session.

McGuiness was 11th in the Superbike.
 
Gortnipper, the site is still open and the replay still functioning as of a few minutes ago.

A correction to my previous post re speeds of the norton Supertwin. The speedtrap time of 129.7 mph was recorded in qualifying session 1. In qualifying session 2 they improved considerably on this, and recorded a speed of 146.7 mph, still 10 mph down on the sessions fastest.

At least Nortons have made a start, and although they no doubt would have preferred much better results, they will have learned a great deal from the meeting hopefully, and be back next year with fully competitive machines.

You need a VPN that will allow you to seen as being inside the UK by the BBC, do not pay anything out until you test them first as the BBC can spot certain types of VPN and will block.

Yeah, I can VPN into our London office
I just couldn't do it at work today.
