Awesome work Gojuu. I'll try it out when I can get out again......I'll have to work on makin a maore accessable ODB port...getting to it on a Domi is a PITA right now!

@TonyA having already adjusted fueling with the Dyno Jet - I think you're going to get a surprise when you see the difference this timing makes.
OH Baby ! I Can hardly wait , it was fun before and now will be a real treat. ! :)

So, by way of an update.

I'm getting more used to the details in the Delta now, and am looking to explore extra sensors.

I had considered that having a map sensor may put me in a position to improve the tune of the bike. I reached out to SCS regarding their thoughts on what additional sensors may be a good way forwards for better tuning. Interestingly their response was that all the input sensor pinouts of the ECU are used by the bike in its current state. This may offer something by way of explanation as to why Norton went back to OMEX. If they needed a MAP sensor to assist with emissions (for Euro 4?), the additional sensor not being available to be added to the Delta could possibly lead them back to OMEX.

edit: I have been assured it wasn't that by someone who definitely knows.....

Having said that, I note that there appears to be some capability in the ECU to assign pinouts, so will review if removing the IAC has given me anything available.

And more to this point , the OMEX bikes 2016 and earlier (not Euro 4) had the Tilt Circuit module to add these extra inputs. The 2016 and earlier OMEX has even less input pins than SC Delta !

A few quick thoughts; is the tachometer gauge display working in the sxTune software, and have you tried loading an alternat map?

The software has a “compare” function, you could try using that between two maps and seeing what settings are different - most likely in the output screen?

Some general settings to check are here:

You can get good help by email from SCS Delta Matt Payne. You can contact them from their website . My page reads the same as above.
What type of ECU did you have previously ?

The OEM is Typhoon, the settings are the same shown at Gojuu´s page.
The tacho/RPM counter is moving, but very slowly and shows wrong revs. It looks like overdamped.
With the typhoon ECU is everything working.

Hello Panetone , Did you get a response from SCS Delta about the rev counter pulses ?

Are the rev counts about half ? Does SCS Delta offer you a new ECU ? Do you have the Delta 400 S , or Delta 400 ? It shouldn't matter but just curious. The tacho pulses come from the ECU and based on cam sensor pulses hence the 2 pulses per rev. Maybe change the cam sensor or check diode or ask for a new ECU ?

what is the difference between 400s & 400 ecu

From Japan.

Hello.
DELTA 400 arrived, so I installed it.

The engine started successfully!

However, there are three problems.

My 961 is a EURO4 model, and the exhaust was replaced with one that removed the catalyst.

1.
Idling becomes unstable after it warms up.
If the cylinder head temperature exceeds approximately 35℃, it will become unstable.

2.
When the engine brake for deceleration drops below 2000 rpm,
A strong afterfire is generated from the exhaust.

3.
Also, I noticed that there are two types of software.
Which software should I use?

I would appreciate any advice on how to deal with the above three points.

Thank you for your reply. thank you.

If you have the latest ECU , you do not want the legacy software . Did you install the (961 with race cans) map ? Or did SCS load this map for you ? They usually ask if you have replaced the exhaust before they send it to you . Did you get this from SCS Delta ?

Thank you for your reply.

I chose Euro 4 at SCS Delta and bought it.

SCS has not confirmed my exhaust.

This is the map installed on my ECU.

————————————————

Note1 Base map

Note2 Jenvey throttle bodies

Note3 Race Exhaust Cans

————————————————

This was installed from the beginning.

I'll ask SCS if there is a map that matches my 961.

I'll report later on what happened to the results.

Also, if you have any advice for me, please reply.
