There’s a free factory tour on the Sunday afternoon, so I’m just digging out my rather larger overcoat with hidden inside pockets , get yer order in & I’ll try & snatch a few spares for yer all

Hard luck - they are way aheard of you, all people have to go through a metal detector on leaving!

Hello Ricjard , This should be awesome ! Take lots of pics please .

Can’t book the factory tour atm unless I book the dinner on the Sat Eve , so we shall see

Surely lots of locals will just want to attend the Saturday daytime and factory and not the evening meal, seems strange the meal is linked to the factory visit.
Why don't the factory just have their own open day, maybe those that are not members of the NOC are not worthy of a factory visit, they way the new owners throw their weight around, it seems to look that way. Maybe one day they'll realise there are way more, many times more, Norton owners outside the UK, again, this shows they have no clue about Norton history or where their potential customer base will come from.
I fear for the future, two Germans and an Italian who are not Norton enthusiasts and riders and seem to know little detail of the Norton history doesn't bode well. They might be clever guys, but taking a brand and starting with a blank piece of paper is way harder than being dropped into an established brand.
A reliable BMW / Ducati mash up with Norton on the tank will no doubt have us all chomping at the bit to buy one.

comedian at the dinner: “ so 2 Germans and an Italian walk into a factory.......”

Saw this just after we'd booked a weekend event with the TVR club. Shame as I'd have liked to do the bike show/factory visit. Odd if you can't do the factory tour without the dinner.

At least it's good that we can be double booked to do something rather than at home not allowed to do anything!
