British Racing Green!

Yes, there is debate but it is a recognizable and iconic paint color for any professional painter to match.

That, or China Red!

I agree that the mudguard is better than the other red, but I think it’s still not right; but it’s going in the right direction.

Personally I really like the Norton silver, it’s sleek and not garish.

Keep positive - don’t let those demons in, they will make you question everything!
Thanks for that, but my business depends on other businesses being open. And in New York, we are locked down for what could be many many months.

Very scary time.

And then there is this on eBay.

I could have a JPR too!

Someone please stop the insanity. I think I have cabin fever...

I’m pretty sure the green GK in post 355 has a JPN fairing. Just goes to show you don’t need to go all out JPN to make a JPN fairing work well.

True, but you can spend endless amount of money making these changes.

I think for now I’m going to stick to the body parts I have and make them work as best as I can and I’m sure it will look great.

That red on the mudguard may be a bit too fast for a first timer..... Someone could get an eye put out flying about at such speeds.

I couldn’t agree with you more there sir.

And I’m sure it’ll look great too, especially in ‘Fast Red’...:D

Whatever colour you go for, use this lockdown to your advantage, spend more of your time and less of your money. More DIY.

If you paint it yourself please use good paint, good gun, good airbrush, & keep them clean. Your mistakes can be sanded and polished away if the pep is done right and you just make it stick. It's not that difficult to do either..... I like acrylic lacquers myself, although some folks don't care for them for lack of tolerance to sun and chipping. Ethanol will kill within 20 seconds also if not addressed, but so can an angry wife.

Now I'm partial to CAR with a gold base.... From the old days. It kind of stirs the soul. Got a can in back right now.... sure good for breaking up the monotony of 50 years of the holy black.

But only the borders for me.

I ordered a can of British green and I’ll see how it looks. But yes, I have a lot of time right now and I’ll be able to do a lot of trials.
