NOT an apology, just need to say it...

What’s the problem? Pointing out Grandpaul’s incompetence is disrespectful? Would you like to buy a motorcycle that someone had used Loctite on the head fasteners?

Rex Tillerson called Trump a fucking moron. Agreeing with Tillerson is not being disrespectful. Don’t you agree with Tillerson?
I expect folks on this site will be deciding what being 'polite & respectful' is about.

Your repeated & boring routine is a click away from this site, for anyone else interested.

i haven't seen anyone else on this site call out GP as incompetent, let alone going on & on about it.

I'm done with you.

If you can’t run with the big dogs, stay on the porch.

I don’t really care for you either. Have a nice day!

For those of you who are not aware, Grandpaul posted that he used Loctite on the head fasteners of a Commando he built for resale. I call that incompetence.

The ignore button does work wonders. Guess that old adage about stop digging if your in a hole is lost on some.

I don’t hide my leanings. I call bullshit bullshit. Wanna’ take a shot at me, expect to be shot back at,

My nephew lives in Nevada. He likes it a lot. I like him, ergo I like Nevada?
Some of my best friends are _________. (fill in the blank)

This thread has used up all of it's oxygen and it is time to move on.

Waiting for winter to end, and are in need of a nice long ride on their Norton's.

I expressed that same thought earlier , come on ride season !!! It is hovering around 0C with a strong wind here at this moment , should be warm portion of this day ....

Curious thing, NONE of the engines that I've built from scratch, overhauled, and/or restored have EVER had a reported issue with oil leaks, OR head bolt problems.

Not one.

Beat the dead horse all you want, all I can say is that I have a 100% perfect record on engines, with several dozen completed. No blow ups, no cracked cases, not even a stripped spark plug or exhaust nut.

The more it gets mentioned, the more I get to mention my fantastic record! (especially considering the "expert" critics some of whom DO have blown engines on their records, and the horrendous fact that I used Loctite...)

If you want to release Loctite, the usual way is to heat it. Here in Australia, there was an incident where all the fasteners on an air-force jet plane, had been put on with blue Loctite

“The more it gets mentioned, the more I get to mention my fantastic record!”.

Grandpaul, you sound like Trump. And a like lack of veracity, no doubt.

Round up all the people that have had a problem with one of my Commando engines. Do NOT include anyone that had a problem BUT DID NOT REPORT IT TO ME.

The line of people will be NON-EXISTENT.

You want veracity, ROUND IT UP.

I will freely admit that if you include ALL brands, the line will have ONE lonely person standing in it, due to a cheap pattern sludge trap tube that mostly blocked oil flow in a Bonneville crank, causing one of the rod bearings to "soft seize" and the engine was immediately shut off. I paid the bill TO THE PENNY, at the client's choice of shops, and he rode away happy. No crank damage, just a new set of rod bearings.

You can toot your own horn all you want. Competent people have no need to brag about their accomplishments.

In my seventy-five years I’ve never heard of an engine builder ever say they used Loctite on any head fasteners. And I’ve known a lot of them.
