Have you read this thread?

You need to be a paying member to see the link, however I can tell you the recipe for polychromatic blue isn't listed in any source at the club's site,
the one for polychromatic red is listed though.

One of the links points to this document:

Maybe you need to contact Anthony Curzon (aka John Donne) about this. He is a frequent contributor in the AJS/M O.C forum. I haven't seen him on this site.

There is also a booklet available from the club which list paint codes. I couldn't find it in the shop listing, so you may have to be a member to obtain a copy. No guarantee that it contains the information you are looking for. Maybe another AMOC member will chime in ....

Regards,
Knut

Do you know if it is an ordinary blue or a polychromic blue?

Piero should answer this for himself, but I can confirm that from 1964 on top-of-the-range models like the AJS M31CSR came with a polychromatic blue paint, as did the export models M33P roadster and the M33CSR sports model (there never was a M33CS). I have a 4.25gal fuel tank in that livery.

In this club forum posting, "Roger" asks about the polychromatic paint code for his M33CSR and is seconded by hybrid expert Anthony Curzon so yes, paint should be polychromatic blue.

You may see this attractive paint depicted here:

For a matching base and top layer, please get in touch with John Epp (address is given in the reference).
