I prefer resistor plugs and non-resistor caps, that way I get new resistors every time I put in new spark plugs.
No difference in performance.
Solid copper is more durable.
Solid copper wires may cause problems with digital ignitions -even with resistor plug caps. The result may be nothing more than an occasional kickback that wouldn't be there with resistor wires.
With all the digital junk on my bike I have to run resistor wires and resistor plugs [or plug caps].
