I have just been drawn (reluctantly) out of retirement to travel to Victoria to take all the tooling for the heads out of storage and do a bit of dusting off prior to the manufacture of a new batch of heads for the new owner, John Snead. A run of 30 heads will be cast and on completion, I will oversee the packaging and transport of the heads and tooling to its new home in the USA. The heads will be machined in the USA.
I watched the pallet of tooling drive off to its new temporary home until completion. I'm also to give my recommendations on the distribution network. I have a number of changes planned. Whilst most of my distributors were fair and above board, there was an exception. A certain distributor will be dropped for reasons which may or may not be made public, depending on the settlement.
So, look forward to some new heads sometime next year.
