I noticed a fuel leak under the tank(961). After tank removal found a crack in the red plastic male fuel fitting on bottom of fuel pump. Can this be replaced by oem plastic part or even better a steel fitting. If so what hold this fitting in place? Here’s hoping that a whole fuel pump is not reqiured

It’s made by JG( John guest) for the automotive industry, come in white/black & red, used in cars on fuel injector rails, also in Moto guzi V7 bikes,I replaced mine for approx £25,there are a few threads on here about those fuel spigots,MXmartin had the part number, held in by a star shaped washer that’s a push fit,

Fuel leak

Just like Richard Pearce said. I also went to this UK site to buy my extra fuel pump elbow. (please notice says also fits Norton !)

Fuel leak
noticed this on a rest during my beach run. Hmmm.... didnt leak and bike ran ok. 47 mpg which is more than usual. Stalled once. Ran like a Swiss watch on the way home.

I found the fuel pump elbow at MG cycles( for the moto guzzi v7). Also contacted John Guest but they only sell to OEM like auto manufacturers.
