This is my ancestral homeland! I need to return before I go to room temperature.

Slick

I believe my ancestral home looks very much like where I have always lived ,here in Nova Scotia ,so no long airplane rides for me just long two-wheel ones .... Wales Forever !

Thanks for sharing Ludwig. I have to say your bike looks like the ideal tool for some of those very scary looking trails. I had to laugh when I saw the British number plates on the two sports bikes. How did they get on in that terrain?

On a serious note - It’s almost forgotten now, but many thousands of troops, Austro-Hungarian, Italian and many displaced civilians lost their lives in that region during WW1 during what became known as “The white war”

For what ?

Cheers,

cliffa.

Actually , they go over these roads faster than me .
They are excellent riders . but they didn't do the rougher Strada dey Cannoni ( 1st pics) for fear of their engine cases .

Hi Ludwig, I’m sure they are very capable riders, it just made me chuckle.

You may already know, but there is a British travel writer called Nick Sanders who rode around the World on a Yamaha R1!
