Gents
I have just cut 20mm off the boot of my factory plug leads, The bike has always had a annoying random miss fire while riding, only a split second but noticeable.
When I changed the plugs I noticed the rubber boot bottomed out before the inner clip was over the plug , which would mean the spark has to jump the gap..
So 20mm off and now it sits on the plug and no more erratic miss.
400 km ride over the weekend and no miss fire.
Worth checking and a simple fix
cheers
