Bleeding the brakes thingy

Very easy, it’s a double sided tape holding it on.
Pushing down will loosen them, then a plastic spatula of some kind will ping ‘em off.

Some alcohol / brake cleaner or similar will be needed to remove glue residue.

Job done !
Wasting alcohol on glue removal?

Man. I have a Naked also, but now seeing yours with the polished tank, I like it!

Is the crime rate in your area bad? I noticed the chain on the front. Couldn’t they just remove the wheel?
I originally wanted the brushed tank, but it was the only one left in the shop, and now I am happy with it
And yes the could just remove the front wheel, and the callipers, it’s locked to my Ducati, how far do you go to keep it secure?

Heard of some guy in Connecticut, had a nice Harley. Parked it in the garage in front of his Rolls. They broke into his garage, lifted the Harley and just dragged it over the Rolls and gone it went. Moral of the story, keep the bike behind the car.

Could only have been a Sportster... the big uns would need a bloody crane to lift ‘em that high!

Fair point.

Maybe it was one of those Aermacchi engined jobs...

You mean one of these? This belongs to a friend of mine.

Yes that’s the one...

Hope your friends hasn’t got particles of Rolls Royce paint lodged on sharp edges here n there...

It's amazing to think that without those AMF machines Ducati might not be around today!

Harley ended up owning Aermacchi. In the late 70's Harley sold up to Cagiva who up to that point were not a motorcycle manufacturer, the early Cagiva 2-strokes were re-badged AMF Harley 2-strokes. Cagiva used Ducati engines to produce bigger engined models then purchased the brand 'Ducati' and produced it's bikes under that name. Cagiva then purchased the 'Moto Morini', 'Husqvarna' and 'MV Agusta' brands. Cagiva evolved into 'MV Agusta'. Harley then purchased MV Agusta and later sold it again. It's a pretty fascinating history for the Italian brands.
