Which would you want?

They are nice bikes, if you like bikes that look like grasshoppers. I like plain old traditional styling. The Duc Scrambler is nice looking except for those multidirectional headers. The Griso is REALLY nice except for them trying to figure out where to mount the cooler and the exhaust. Not into those jugs nor the boxster Beemer either, however, spectacular motorcycles. Multistrad is too tall for my inseam and I wouldn't touch an MV if it were half price. It's not the bike, it's the company.
I've been a MV owner (2 bikes) for more than 10 years. Never had an issue with the bike, parts availability, service, or the company. We USA Norton owners would be pots calling the kettle black to denounce another motorcycle company given Norton's inability to sustain a US dealer network, gain traction or market share, and even get new Nortons certified for sale in USA in reasonable time.
Bike design and looks are an individual thing. Most of my bike friends wouldn't touch a classic or modern classic Triumph or Norton. There are things I would change in design about every bike I've owned, but if Voodoo values experiencing the different personalities of different bikes, there are a lot of options out there.

The tough thing about recommending bikes for two up riding is that most bikes I think look and ride great are crap for a pillion

Here are a few. The Multistrada and Turismo Veloce and great for two-up riding.

  • Ducati Scrambler 1100 Sport
    Which would you want?
  • Ducati Multistrada 950
    Which would you want?
  • Moto Guzzi Griso SE (2017 is last year and available at deep discounts)
    Which would you want?
  • MV Agusta Turismo Veloce 800 Lusso
    Which would you want?
I know the Ducati’s are well built and are great bikes, but the looks of them do nothing for me. Much like Italian cars. Lamborghinis to me are hideous. Ferrari’s are nice as are some Alfa’s etc. but the only Ducati of new that I care much about are the cafe scrambler.
But I’m still not much sold on the in the looks department. Sorry.

I agree 100%. You and I have the same taste!

It's all good. You have good taste in bikes. Norton, Triumph, BWM, Ducati, Indian and others are making some cool modern classics right now. Like you, I would not own an Asian bike or Harley. Scramblers are the bike 'de jour' now. Minimalistic Standards, Cafe Racers and Urban Motos are fairly popular. Adventure/Dual Sport bikes are doing OK. Sport bikes and Supermotos are not doing well. I just bought a Supermoto

Having ridden a Monster 1200S a few times on some nice twisties, Iove it and am sorry I didnt get it. Not that I'd ever put my wife on tbe back of it, but man, what a comfortable ride.

Personally, I would like Norton to jazz up one the 650 Nomad to make a new 750 Commando. Add faux cooling fins, and classic engine cover, and logos, etc. Otherwise, they can just slap a supercharger on the 650 Nomad with mag wheels, and call it the new 650 Commando.

I’m easy to please.

But I’ve got a sweat spot for Moto Guzzi.
If they introduce a new 1200 LeMans that looks like the 1978 version, then I’m all in.

Which would you want?

Sounds rather Thaiumph-esque doncha think ?

Absolutely.
Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery I suppose.
The trick is to do the imitation better than the inspiration!

From what I have seen of Norton's design talent, they can pull it off.
And a supercharged Commando puts the most prestigious moniker Norton has, right back in a performance spotlight.

That's all good.
