Hi Friends,
As you maybe know, my language is French or Dutch and Shakspeare was not my teacher for English
I wish to know: is MK the abreviation from two words?
You have Commando MK2-3, Seeley MK2-3-4, Spitfire MK 6-7, even stenguns MK 2-3
Please explain me???
Cheers
yves

Yves, it's simply an abbreviation for the English 'mark' - more or less the same as 'series'

Most Dutch speakers refer to 'Em Ka Drees' when they mean a Mark 111 :)

Or 'version' = (dictionary quote) "A particular form or variation of an earlier or original type"

right, she would be MKII or MKIII. Just don't tell her that! (if she's MKIV or later, you should have quit long time ago)
Cheers,
Don

Yves, If your wife is 'Mark' anything, you must have picked her up in Thailand and I would recommend having a very close examination of the specification!

Ha Ha Ha !!!!!!

How come all the people with a warped sense of humour own Nortons and old Ducati's??????
