I live SW of Ft Worth and I was wondering who in the area can grind a Norton crank?
Not a big fan of going anywhere close to the metroplex if I don't have to.

My machinist has ground many Triumph & Norton cranks for me, always perfect results.

Just need to send the rods & new shells along with the crank.

At one time I asked Jim Comstock who he used and he said there was a place in Denver he sent his to. Need to ask him who it is.
I have been asking around locally and they referred me to a place in Florida.

Just did a check on the crank and it is .002 under size.

Have you tried Big D Cycles in Dallas?

I have been in contact with Jim Comstock and will be sending it to Mile High Crankshaft in Denver. I have nothing against Big D except for getting there. Driving in Dallas is a nightmare.

Mike High Crankshafts, the NENO guys use them as well. I just got one back and it measured spot on and looked good.

Got my crank back last week. Sent it off to Mile High Crankshafts in Denver. It took a bit over 2 weeks including shipping time.
Jim Comstock recommended them and they know Norton cranks so they can do them with little to no fuss.
