I am trying to clean up my wiring under the tank a little. I have fitted TriSpark, 12v dual coil, and have removed the condenser and ballast resister. I have also disconnected WP from the starter solenoid.
Now I have a lot of open ended (unused?) WP wires. Can I remove all the WPs without affecting any other functions?
Thanks,
Jaydee

According to the manual you've got one white/purple from solenoid to coil and one from ballast resistor to same coil terminal, so that's only two free connectors. Still require w/p link wire between the two coils. Sorry, just realised you've now only one coil so that'll be 4 free terminals. In fact re-reading your question again do you still have the electric start? If so you'll need the w/p from solenoid otherwise the bike wont start - I think.

Yes.

The WP (ballast resistor bypass) wiring must, at least, be disconnected if any type of electronic ignition is fitted.
