What helmet for my Red 750?

I am looking for a helmet that will match my new red Commando 750? Do any of you have an idea of what helmet might go nicely with this bike?
 
Just as a refrigirator, white goes with anything and is more visible than black.

I was thinking white or silver. Maybe a Shoei RF-1000. Not sure if this is the most retro helmet for the bike, but I had one once and it worked well. This is a picture of the bike:

WHITE helmet -- big time.

Not only does it match any color shoes you're wearing, <g> but it is the most immediately noticeable aspect of the whole bike/rider combination according to most studies.

I was leaning towards a light silver because it is almost white and would match the "norton" on my bike, rather than matching my shoes :lol:
 
I have a Shoei head. Got a great deal on the new RF1100. You should be able to find excellent prices on a RF1000. Still one of the best helmet out there. My wife wanted me to get silver. I had an old black X9 so I went with black.

But it makes your head look too big :) How much is a Shoei RF-1000?
 
I thought about a Davida a while back for the retro look but I just couldn't get my head around a non full-face helmet. I've been wearing FF helmets since I had my original 71 Commando (Bell at the time) and since I didn't wear "retro" helmets then, I figured I didn't need one now so I just continue to use Shoei FFs as I have for the last 30 years. The protection is far more important than the look. You can always do some custom painting/decals to make it appropriately "Norton," if you want.

I think the red gold and black go well with the red gold and black of my Roadster
 
Hi there, with a red Commando ........a fireman helmet , with the big ladder on the rack.......nearly first of April!!!
 
Helmets can be painted to match. Not a big deal. Pick one that protects you, fits well, and is in your price range. Mine is an Arai and it's red like my Norton.
