As promised here are some pics of the plates fitted after chroming and powder coating. I’ve moved the pillion pegs forward for two reasons firstly with the AN Hepco and Becker panniers the pegs are just too close to the panniers allowing my wife to only fit her heel on the peg which just isn’t comfortable so moving them forward allows her to have more space and a more comfortable rest for her feet. Secondly when I changed from Interstate to Roadster the pillion footpeg position was too far back relative the the saddle so this has solved two problems. I’m now just waiting for a custom made rear brake cable (3/4" longer to go over the new footpeg position) then we’re done. I’m pleased with the result, the chrome of the outer plate blends in with the ‘Z’ plate and the powder coated inner plates blend in with the swing arm and effectively disappear.
