What Did You Do With Your Commando Today?

Got it dirty! 100 miles. Still fiddling with the idle / air screws. Seems very sensitive. Good ride in this milder weather though.
Edit: looks so much cleaner in the photo!

You will never get that mixture right so best you just give up and sell me that commando!

Santa at CNW sent me a carbytutor, so it was only sense to make a start fitting it

Ooh look! A rev limiter! (He says, controversially :) )
Is it the ubiquitous 34mm kit? Will be interesting to see what you think of it, especially in our inclement climate?
"A rev limiter" oh god!!!!

After a run with all AvGas a few days ago batteries out of all my bikes today . Commando float bowls and fuel lines drained .
Fuel tanks topped of with AvGas - clean up and wax and wait for winter to go away .

Pulled the 6 V. Lucas coils and fitted the new Tri-Spark 6 V. coils on the street in plus 4 C. Put battery back in and she fired up first touch of the magic button. Full choke and tickled. Tri- Spark says they are better with a longer duration spark. Anyone know if true ?
