What are the relays under the tank?

Hello all - my 2017 euro4 cr has developed starting and cutting issues - it is difficult to start and/or cuts after a couple of minutes running. With some encouragement it will restart. Once running it seems to be fine and pulls like a train so I am replacing sensors and relays. In the manual there is a pointer to the tank area annotated as 'fuel light relay' and that's all. Assuming that is correct what is the other relay?

Check pin grip, as I had one recently where a relay terminal was a loose fit onto the relay holder female terminal. Just needed a tweak with a small flat blade to make it right again. Intermittent faults are fun 👀🤦🏻‍♂️

I thought mine was headlamp off during cranking relay . I once had cutout issues and it was my tip over sensor .

I would replace all Norton OEM (Donington Era - I don't know what TVS Norton is using) with Honda OMRON relays . Part number is on this site.

Yes I was told pre-TVS that the wiring looms arrived with cr*ppy relays attached like that was an excuse.... I replaced some a while back just want to make sure I get the ones which can cause engine cuts. A while ago I had the main beam relay fail which left me without dip OR main beam while riding in the dark.......

Thanks for the info Stu.

So I was getting cutting out, not wanting to start (often when warm which I attributed to lack of intake heat insulator), rough running when cold with a misfire on on one cylinder. Replaced head temp sensor, front cam sensor, new standard plugs, ultrasonic cleaned lambda sensors and replaced four relays; 2017 Euro4 so two under tank, two under seat. Now all running really strong and starts fine. Happy Days.

Hi Clive , How many relays does your bike have ? I have 6 , 4 in the fuse box and 2 under tank.

The ones worth replacing ie the blue one's on 2016 onwards euro 3 and the euro 4 bikes are seven on the euro 3 and four on the euro 4. Also four on the V4ss...which are an absolute twat to replace.

My Dominator has 7. I thought it had 6 but checking over the wiring last night I found this one tucked away on its own. Anyone know what it’s for ?
