That would be the Vokes air filter. It was offered as an option by Vincent after 1952. Vokes is still in business but no longer makes motorcycle air filters. A fellow in the US was making replica Vokes air filters for $695 + you supply a pair of $100 K& Ns for the internals. Not sure if he is still doing these.Some sticklers for originality were willing to pay that. The filters were very nicely done and pretty much hand made, hence the high price.GlenGlen
