The JPN tribute, whatever it's called, replaced the Fire Flake Blue on the Mark 3.
Bob,roadster tins first.
Also considering the JPN tribute livery
According to the parts manual, Hi-Rider only came in black in 1975 (MkIII).Mk3 Roadsters came out Candy Red, Black and JPS white/blue/red, Interstates silver, Candy Red, Black, not sure of Hi Riders
Norman White (who should know, as he worked at Norton at the time) said the White, Blue & Red was referred to as the Jubilee colour scheme. My MKIII is the white with red and blue striping paint scheme. No official document I've seen mentions JPN or John Player anything. If someone has such a thing I'd like to see it.
Pics please? Here's the Clymer manual with a JPN roadster on the front:
If it is good enough for Clymer, it's good enough for me. My Mark III has JPN colors
