Well I almost have it down to the bare frame. I'm missing a wrench big enough to take the steering head nut off. The head came back from the shop and it only needed a quick clean up. Valves, seats, and guides were all good from the last rebuild I guess. I took the gear box apart and it doesn't look like it rusted or anything like that. Took a few pic's of all the parts together.

Still working on trying to separate the bottom end. Doesn't want to come apart squarely. Oh well, back to the shop. I have to buy Coffee this time around to pay for my services!!!

If ya ain't keeping the one ya got, then large cresent, large spanner or pipe wrench should do it. If as stuck as they can be and want to preserve the big ole stem nut, take the frame to a shop with air impact that size. Its well worth it to get a 3/4" china drive set with sockets and extensions as can also be used as drifts for various things. Going by my own saga, your wimpy unstable mounting shown may not allow you to straddle the whole frame and hold on to the hi leverage you may have to apply, w/o both ya falling or slipping off the nut. In my cases it took the almost 2 ft long breaker bar in my kit as the ratchet one weren't enough.

There are oil gauge kits that mount up thru a replacement nut.

Looking good. I have my bike on the road again for the summer. Only a few nice days down here on the wet coast so far.
