It seems that journalists can be replaced by using artificial intelligence to write magazine articles and news reports. However we are yet to see a computer which will compose a concerto for an orchestra - by digitising a selection of notes which is music to our ears, after shuffling through all of Bach, Vivaldi and the rest..

Most of what passes for journalism these days is written by people with little to no intelligence anyway so artificial might be an improvement.

If Murdoch intends to use artificial intelligence instead of journalists, he will need to programme-in the same level of bias. It might be the way I read his bullshit, but it always seems to be very manipulative.

It's all manipulated one way or another. It's been that way since the Acta Diruna and will be so as long as humans are humans. It just seems like the bullshit has gotten deeper and deeper lately.

Murdoch seems to have no problem being with artificial intelligence, hasn't he married Jerry Hall lately? ;) :(

I am a journalist and resent that remark

Then you are going to love this ( or.... maybe not)
Elon Musk's neuroscience start up Neuralink has unvielded a pig with a small micochip inserted
into its brain, he describes it a "Fitbit in your skull with tiny wires" the pig is happy, or so he claims.
Has anyone asked the pig what he/she thinks?
This is the beginning of a long down hill slope, your bacon will never taste the same again. . . . :(

The first word of that statement is a qualifier that leaves it up to the reader to determine which side the journalism in question falls on.
