Vintage looking tires with modern tread compound

Yellow-cad, I have stock 19's f and r. The Barracuda 6000 I am using is a front tire. That was the only reason I went to the V rated one versus the other Barracuda. I figured it would be a bit more robust. My rear tire takes a beating because I tend to sit back on the seat and I am a fat old man (270) speed rated.

I looked at Coker but they all seem to be bias ply tires

AM26's, K81's, Cheng Shin, Speedmasters, they're all bias ply. I have never heard of a radial ply tire suitable for a Commando.

I figured newer tires were not bias ply.

I thought all radials were tubeless. I know BMW's GS spoked rim runs a tubeless by drilling the rim in the bead area. Otherwise, I think you have to have a solid rim to run a tubeless. As I'm writing this I'm thinking of all the late model spoked Harleys. What are they running for tires? I know the earlier spoked H-Ds run bias ply with a tube. I checked H-D's website, but when I clicked on specs I got an error. Par for the course with Harley, huh?

All Harleys come with Dunlop bias-ply tires. Depending on model they use D402, D401, or K591. I believe the solid and "mag" type wheels are tubeless, but the laced wheels run tubes.

What else would we expect from Harley? But, hey, they say "Harley Davidson" on the sidewall, so they must be the best.
