I am just fitting new MK3 Vernier into the MK3 front mount There is quite a discrepancy in the length of the new vernier vs the mount. There is a gap aprox 20 mm between the adjusters and the actual mount . This gap cannot be closed up . It would fit perfectly into the MK2 and I have done several of these with no problem however, the MK3 mount is 105 mm vs 117 for the MK2. Is there some kind of spacer that I am missing as even at maximum tightness there is still quite a gap. Any ideas on this would be appreciated Thx Drummer 99

It sounds as if you could be trying to fit a pre-Mk3 vernier conversion kit to a Mk3 front mount?

The pre-Mk3 conversion kit adjuster collar is narrower than the Mk3 collar to fit the wider pre-Mk3 front mount.

The correct front kit for the Mk3 is 06.7116.

Mk3 front and rear adjuster collars are the same part. This must be fitted on the RH/timing side of the front mount.
