Vent kit install/ bolt removal help needed!

Have you tried pushing down on the airbox while you turn the bolt? It may produce enough grip to allow the screw to turn out of the insert, or the insert will just turn itself out then you can get some grips on it. But why are you removing the airbox ? This is a transmission vent right?

Following the instructions & airbox needs to be lowered to install the kit. Downward pressure on the box isn’t helping - the bolt continues to turn without loosening…

Just send the vent down under the crankcase . I have my that way for ever , its A ok . This is how the Norton Service manual installs it.

The picture on the instructions is a little vague. Can this breather kit be fitted without lowering the airbox?

Yes , Don't run the vent tube to to the airbox. Route it under the starter and then back down at the rear of the primary case and then end where the other drain hoses are under there. Look at the Euro 4 961 Service manual and you will see the routing instructions.
