Hello you all,
I'm confused about what new springs set I should use.
The factory workshop manual specs free lengh is 1.482'' inner, 1.618'' outer.
I have two (2) replacement sets on hand. One is Aerco, the other is from Norvil.
Aerco is 1.60'' inner, 1.640 outer.
Norvil is 1.55'' inner, 1.70 outer.
I ride a 850 standard cam.
Is there any worry about using one of those replacement set despite springs are a bit longer than factory specs?
Considering, valves are a bit deeper in the seats after recutting them (new guides and valves), is there another worry issue?
I imagine the real test to perform would be a pressure test on fitted springs, but unfortunately I don't have the needed tools to perform a spring pressure test. So what are your opinions?
Many thanks.

Measure you height under your retainer to spring seat , take your retainer and measurements to machine shop and check seated pressure and full lift pressure . You can buy spring pressure gauge to go in a vice .

Well, with just one kind advice, I think I'll go ahead with the Norvil ones. I imagine it won't harm as I run a standard cam.
Any new comments welcome:)
