Vale Kevin Ash

Putting a seat in a saddle means giving up full control of life and future.
Who's next? Whose logic facts will stop them from over looking it each ride?

In the story of life, nobody gets out alive. He died doing something he loved - how good is that ?

His daughter has something to say about that:

"The phrase ‘he died doing what he loved’ sprang to mind but I would like to stamp that firmly out. He loved his family more and we love him."

I've almost died doing what I love and know the last instants of it are pure Terror SPIKES then nothing. I sometime startle jerk shudder in bed when flash backs hit out the blue. Every moment I'm not crashing is savored but back of mind wife and I know might not return. Dying doing what Ya like best, HA just wishful thinking to rationalize its not your time yet. I still get depressed on what the deer did to me and Sir Eddie doing what we like, just tooling around behaving....

You used "I" or it's contraction at least six times - what's this thread about?

From Mr Ash's writing he identified himself as someone who took his own mortality and the dangers of his passion seriously, but more importantly he took responsibility for his actions. RIP.
