Where it hi lights the search PINK in bg is really bugging me-- I cannot find it in the CSS, but will make it black or grey later...

.posthilit {

color: #BCBCBC;

padding: 0 2px 1px 2px;

}

Is this it?

The following words in your search query were ignored because they are too common words: gearbox.
You must specify at least one word to search for. Each word must consist of at least 3 characters and must not contain more than 14 characters excluding wildcards.

I'm getting this with some very common motorcycle words. Is there a threshold or something to adjust?

Other "common" words that error out:

commando
wheel
battery
wiring

No- I already changed that-- did not do it-- I thought it was that too

This is fixed too. I have enabled flood control so server does not get ovrloaded. 10 seconds between searches for logged in users and 30 secs for not registered users. I will have to keep an eye on it...

I have just moved the whole forum to a less loaded server.

Next I will look at the search back button blank page issue. Not sure what I can do about that. If there are no more issues I will close this thread? Got to focus on bike and get away from PC..

Cheers

I like the new look/function of the forum. I did a search for a relatively minor item (teflon tape on petcocks) and got quick useful information!

BTW, I'm NOT using the teflon tape and using the rubberized washers as per the thread's reccommendation.

thanks again

Karl
