Unique Isolastic on 68' Commando?

I am preparing to replace what I think are the original Iso's on a 1968 Commando. There appears to be a pressed in sleeve /shell for both the front and rear Iso's. The rubber is adhered to that sleeve/shell. Looks like it would be very difficult to press out? Intent is to machine front mount and install adjustable MkIII Iso's. Any experience with this is appreciated. Thanks Barry

Replace all the innards with the 71 parts. No problemo.

Thanks, looks like I have some work ahead of me. Might be easier to buy a cheap used front mount

if the mount is the same as a 71 then veneer ISO's are available that require no machining.

Check with Old Britts or Commando Specialties
