Due to the extensive TV coverage over the past weeks on the UK election I have had time read all the rather large pile of unread old motorcycle magazines
that were on our coffee table and put them in the recycling bin.

And my wife is happy that she can now see the coffee table top, so an additional bonus to be exploited !

Excellent result :D

Uh, is it over yet? Who won? Oh, really? Er, you mean it doesnt matter?
We get hosed no matter what...

I presume from the Australian media silence that Boris Johnstone lost. Apparently Joe Hockey, our rep in Washington has said that Jeremy Corbin will be bad for investment in Australia. So it sounds as though the conservatives have had their arses knocked in.

The Broadcasters are not allowed to report details of campaigning or election issues while the polls are open.

Expect the news onslaught to recommence at 10.00pm UK time tonight with the usual cr*p predictions and expert:eek: opinions

I wish you all good luck. You will need it. It must be like being on your wedding night and waiting for the other boot to drop.

Hey! It's over!
...and already neither side is happy, the Remainers are still armed and ready and the leavers convinced the Leave will be a stitch up.
All I know is the politicians won and the citizens lost. It is like going to the fun fayre: when you win you lose.
Im going to revert to worrying about oil threads and rim size.

Well, the people have spoken ..... again!

Will the globalists pack up their bags and leave?

I doubt it.

To tell you the truth I couldn't give a hoot who won or lost I am to far down under to worry about and who ever gets in poor old Joe Blow will get screwed, all I want is to mind my own business and enjoy the rest of my life and it don't matter who gets voted in cost of living will always be hit the hardest, rego's will keep going up, taxes will go up to pay for GOV. mistakes and miss mangagement and by the time they get voted out its to late and our young ones will be forced to pay them dets off, my state GOV keeps borrowing money that they will never be able to pay off and they have admitted that and the worst thing they get their big pay outs and life time pension that no other ordinary person will ever get when they get voted out from all their mistakes, well I would go and have another beer but our Fedreral GOV keep putting the TAX up on our beer every 6 months, fuc…. we just can't win, we are all screwed who ever is voted in.

My dad and myself have done our share of home brew (Coopers) and we made a great beer with a bit more sugar for a stronger brew but the worst thing was it was so nice I was drinking it everyday, with in a few years I went from a skinny person and piled on the weight and couldn't control the weight after about 10 years of brewing so decided to stop brewing and having to buy my beer I slowed down my drinking habit and its taken me a long time to get my weight back down to a healthy weight, when I started brewing my weight was 75kg and after 10 years of brewing and drinking it went past 115kg, I am now back down to 85kg.
I still like a beer or two but not everyday and now retired I was going to start the brewing up again but though about the troubles I got myself into last time lol, us Aussies love our beers way to much lol.

To the apathetic old-timers, here is a novel idea. If you're 65 or older, you don't get to vote. Not your future anymore. ;);););)

Can I keep my vote for the sake of the future of my grandkids who are not yet permitted to vote?

That's not a good idea our retirement age use to be 65 for males and 60 for females then the GOV increased it to 67 a while back then they came up with the idea to increase it to 70 and they got voted out, they are back in power and would love to increase it to 70 so they didn't have to pay old age pensions but they learned their lesson from the last time they brought it up, the conservertives would have everyone working till they dropped, but it a different story with the Pollies as soon as they get voted out they can access their over paid pensions straight away and keep living the high life they don't deserve, no wonder the country is in such a mess, they are just greedy bastards the lot of them.

My better half works in government
One of the things she always says is "do not make the mistake of thinking one party is different from another because they are not"
After all the same civil servants run the country regardless of who is in power
