Hmmm, good news...?
Or a sneaky way of beginning the process of legislating old vehicles off of the road...?
Just because I'm paranoid does not mean they're not out to get me....

I have a feeling that you might be right, some legislations put very restrictive uses on vehicles running on Historic plates and I could see that happening

Well I've got my NOC dating certificate at the ready - log book says registered '74, but NOC says built September '73 - Looking forwards to seeing how successful I'm going to be!

In 2 years time all my bikes will be rent-free.. I may have to start riding my Bonnie again

Re: (UK) Budget News: Rolling Hist. Tax Exemption Reintroduc

I submitted an application for a tax disc together with my dating certificate and V5C to be amended to 'Historic' taxation a couple of weeks ago, and the tax disc arrived today :)

Has to be done via DVLA Swansea as the log book needs amending - can't really complain about the service, but would have been quicker had they not shut down the local DVLA office.

Just waiting for my wrist to heal now
