Trump Continues to Lie

If the CV19 carries on for many more months, as I fully expect it to, will the US elections happen or is Trump likely to just carry on for another 4 years unelected?

The elections will happen. Right now there is a push to initiate a vote by mail system (already in use in certain states) to eliminate the need for gathering at polling places.

Republicans are trying to stop this as voter suppression is what they rely on to get elected.

Trump said on Fox News this week that if the country made it easier for people to vote "Republicans would never win another election".

Trump wants to restore tax deductions for business meals. Brilliant. That will stop COVID-19 in it’s tracks and save the restaurant industry. NOT! Those who eat lunch from a cooler will be so happy. They may be able to deduct that $10 cooler. Republicans always looking out for the little guy.

If the Republicans never won another election - would that be bad ? 'There is no good or bad in the world except thinking makes it so'.

Why do all his yes men / women look so scared at his press conferences ?
Looks just like North Korea’s dear leader with everyone shitting themselves

In Australia, the Labor party now has the role of keeping and eye on the Conservatives. During every other major crisis, Labor has been up-front and centre and has carried the can. The law of unintended consequences says that 'everything happens for the best'.

Don't all Politicians lie, don't get me wrong but I haven't come across a honest politicians yet and most know nothing but what others tell them, Jim C seems to have a dislike of Trump but what about all the untruths from the other side, if anyone lies enough they will begin to believe in their own untruths.
Don't matter what party or flag they run under they will say anything to keep in power whether its true or false and when they get caught out they have laws or rules in place to cover their arse, no thanks I don't trust any politicians at all.

I’ve had 14 presidents in my lifetime. Never has any, other then Trump, been a pathological liar. Yes, all politicians lie, to some extent. Trump’s lies are continual and almost child like. He’ll say something one day and deny saying it the next. All the while he is being recorded. Besides being a pathological liar, he is unfit for the office of POTUS. Nixon was a choirboy compared to Trump. He seems to have a fondness for dictators, unlike any president before him. He seems to not want to know, or learn anything, preferring to govern by instinct. These are all traits that make for a poor leader, let alone POTUS.

While I agree with 95% of your "viewpoints", you are coming across as "frothing at the mouth".
Give it a rest. Surely there are other forums where you can vent for a while. Just sayin'

I think a lot more people should be “frothing at the mouth”. People should be in the streets like during the LBJ & Nixon presidencies. I truly do not understand this complacency.

...and yet YOU are not out in the streets like during LBJ & Nixon's terms...

hmmmmm... Me doth think ye protest too much.

Who says I’m not in the streets? You don’t have any idea what I am or am not doing.

Monday 280 million respirator masks held in US warehouses were sold to foreign countries. Yet Trump refuses to halt activities such as this. He could easily nationalize all ppe. Why? Could there be money matters involved here?

Are you in the streets protesting?

(no, Coronavirus considerations; I get it.)

Have you been in the streets protesting in the last year?

in the streets protesting? thats rich!

frothing at the mouth? no like, no read

what I'm doing is donating to those who have the intent and means to end this national disgrace, picking up the pieces and restoring a sense of sanity, righteousness, and civility to this distressed nation.

Like what was done with trump "charities" and trump "university". If you're missing the facts on those two gems, look it up.

Trump did a good thing yesterday. He called the knot head governor of Florida and convinced him to close the state. Finally, Better late than never.

Dr. Fauci now has protection by the US Marshalls due to the numerous death threats from those who think this pandemic is a hoax perpetrated by those wanting to bring Trump down. The US is under threat from two deadly diseases, CORONAVIRUS and STUPIDITY!

Although I've never voted Republican, seeing them steamrolled would not be good for democracy. They ARE the minority party and as such, deserve to be heard. Checks and balances are good and as we all know, if power corrupts, absolute power corrupts absolutely, regardless of which side's wielding it. I would like to see the USA ceasing to hand over the Presidency on the strength of the gerrymandered Electoral College.
