Trouble with Lucas Colour Coded Wiring Installation Plan

Why did you order what appears to be a '71 - '74 headlamp harness? As a '70 model would normally have a different wiring layout and harness to that used from '71-on?

I can't find any record of WW068066 on the manufacturer's website - where did you get it from?
WW19106 is listed as a 1970-74 Commando headlamp harness (the cloth one is WW19106C). Does this fit with what you were after?

Who did you order the harness from, as 068066 would seem to be a Norton part number although that actual part number doesn't appear on the Andover Norton parts list?

In the link below, 068066 is original Lucas number 54960724 which is the '71 - '74 headlamp harness (AN part 068067/BR = braided)

According to the Lucas list (link, below) the 54960724 harness is now Wassell-Lucas part WW19106C (C = 'Cloth' braid?), so ww068066 is WW19106. If the wiring diagram doesn't match the harness I can only guess they may have sent you the wrong harness.

Hello LAB, I ordered it because I have a 74 Commando... I wrote 70 by mistake.
However, if it is the same part, then probably your right an Norville sent me the wrong part...Well, as I told Andy, I'm going to try and figure it out... trial and error... trial and error...
