Having scored a full day's employment (my first for months due to Covid) I thought I'd stock up on a few essentials: Guitar strings, spark plugs et al...
These arrived today, and will admit without the aid of digital camera and PC enlargement I'd be clueless as to the bottom 'warning' picture....

Not for model aeroplanes?

Not for model aeroplanes?
I assume that, like the Mikuni carb I struggled with, in certain markets these need to be branded as not for use in aviation...
Though this side of the pond I've never in 45+ years been quizzed by the motor factor as to whether I was going to be sticking my Unipart specials into a helicopter or the like :)
I was more than happy just to be going 'along', 'up and down' was never an aspiration....

After zooming in and gazing at a clearer image courtesy of Google for the last ten minutes Al's#5 was almost right about the lower image. It is not for aircraft.

Then after a beer the upper image suddenly jumped out at me. It's a microlight !!

I use NGK Irridium in my Quicksilver, never bothered to inspect the box for "warnings"...

In fact, within the community, they are recommended as the BEST plugs for the planes...

I think it means caution: don't bother looking at this warning label without glasses

They clearly want to make a lot of money so they can obtain a better laser printer!

It's a liability dodge for not paying to get their products certified by the FAA. A friend stopped by the other day with a Rotax flat four-cylinder light aircraft engine for a plane he's constructing. He told me it cost over $10,000 which is quite a piece of change for a glorified Lycoming copy no more complex than a Volkswagen Beetle mill. Getting parts and components FAA-certified must be quite expen$ive.
