I was driving home on a business trip yesterday and stopped for gas. Next door to the gas station was bike salvage yard, so on a whim I went in and asked if they had any Norton stuff, to my surprise they said yes! There were a few grungy Commando bits in a box in the basement, but next to that was an NOS MkIII black cap muffler! It’s not something I needed, but I figured someone here might, so I grabbed it. Unfortunately they only had 1. I’ll post it in the sales section shortly.

Did you buy the Roadster tank?

A number of years ago I was at Domiracer in Cincinnati and stopped next door at Skips Motorcycle salvage. I asked if they had any British stuff and the guy (not Skip) pointed to some old school buses. As we talked, I kicked something next to my feet and picked it up. It was a Norton Commando TLS brake hub. I asked the guy how much he wanted for it, and he replied $20, I almost tore my back pocket off trying to get to my wallet. It has since found a home on my 65 Atlas.
