I like many others decided to replace the standard relays with genuine Honda made in Japan relays.

Until a friend pointed out that if you look closely the relay is marked Made in China. So that means that the packet is made in Japan but the relay is not.
Is no one to be trusted !!

China is pretty much world leaders in manufacture. I have a carbon fibre Bell Racestar helmet, £700 with the tinted visor....made in China on the label and the visor. The abs unit on your Cali is an ATE/Continental unit, world leading abs electronics....still made in China. Its not the place that is the concern with such things, its the quality control applied. A company like Continental or Bell will have products manufactured in China, but they will oversee the quality control. Buying a branded item that is made in China is nothing like buying a rip off copy of something made in China.

Well, that is disappointing certainly.
However, as has been pointed out many times on this forum:
If Honda put their name on something, you can be sure that they have done the necessary QA, QC on that item to insure it has the proper Honda quality/reliability.

Honda doesn't sell crap, especially someone else's crap.

I suppose my main gripe was the package said made in Japan but it’s really made in China.
Is that misleading or lying
