The new anti association laws and bikie crack down

I know this subject has been locked but things are getting worst here in Queensland, the latest that is getting around now is the Goverment has given the transport dept, more powers to be, if you are riding along the road and there is a transport dept set up on the side of the road, if the inspectors think that your bike is to loud, they can take your rego number and send you a letter in the mail to tell you so and that you will have to take your bike to a testing centre and to prove them wrong, this is getting beyond a joke now.

I have also been told that one of the biggest bike dealers (Team Motto) here in Queensland has had the police inspect all the bikes new and used and any bikes with after market pipes on they were given fines of $500 for each bike.

Because of the crack down on the outlaw bikies and the anti association laws the bikie groups have gone under ground and a few high courl celleneges that is on the go at the moment, the Goverment is having a hard time and is looking at other ways to crack down, but its having a effect on everyday bikers that have no association at all with outlaw bikies.

These bad laws not only effect bikers but every person in this state, be intresting to see what happens at the next election as this is just the start of things and if they get in again it will only get worst with goverment controling every one in this great state of ours.

That is something else again if true.
The noise laws were brought in because a minority elected to ride around with un muffled or open pipe exhaust systems (worldwide),that produced a over reaction (Here and New Zealand that I know of) by the authorities stipulating OEM exhaust systems to get a 'Blue slip.
Everyone pays the penalty now (including automotive) even if you have a 96db or less aftermarket exhaust.
There is then the danger that bikes like classic Commando's (non OEM Peashooters) or Ducati's (Conti's $1300 a pair) could be deemed to loud.
Like a lot of things,a few spoil it for the rest.

What next,dictated riding apparel.

$3500 Termginoni system removed,lucky I picked up a set of stock headers/mufflers (eBay) for $99 plus a drive to Sydney otherwise no blue slip.

Yes its getting bad and if the inspectors are having a bad day or something else they could even say your stock pipes could be loud and even if they aren't they still could send you the letter to explain, to much power can go to their heads and of course then we will be having the bad day.

There was even the idea for anyone with a tattoo will have to get them registed as they think only bikies have tattoos, but that has gone quite as I think they been told that many poeple have tattoos from the young to old to older woman to old men from service poeple to pollies, so not much more has been said about it.

Their just trying to take our rights off us and they forget who pays their high wages for all their crap.

That also is something else.
I call them 'smudges these days,there was a time when those with tattoo's were non conformists,now it is those without that are the non conformists.
When a man has the same tattoo's as a middle aged overweight women you know the world has changed,full arm butterflies and forests :roll:

Don't forget OSH for your own safety delivered by folk with no actual experience,opening bonnets,hoods to see no engine just plastic covers with colour coded spots for oil,water etc.
Traction control,ABS,airline flights where the pilot might have minimal hand flying hours verses that on auto pilot.
The big picture is a case of can't see the wood for the tree's for most consumers until it is to late.

I love my shed and the way things are going mite be the safest place with the beer fridge, but hey they mite ban that as well, don't want us to enjoy ourselfs.

But its also like working all your life to pay these pollies their outragest wages and they turn around and put the retirment age up to 70, they just want you to work untill you drop, but when they get kicked out of office they can get their retirment pay straight away for the rest of their lifes, these are the ones that get us in this mess and expect every man and his dog to fix the mess up.

There is some history of picking on one small bad element of a population that requires everyone to come under the gun. hobot may hold to imaginary global conspiracy schemes to sneer at but dam it the sci fi script playing out is in your face evidence to me. The rights they teach in public fool systems does actually exist but not once contracted with the powers that be statutory system. I've no solution except get away from population centers and only take car carefully to cities with a dash cam installed. American and much of the world as possible. Its takes a police state to pull this off. I'm in process of demanding Arkansas Sec. of State to search data bases for any evidence of me being an AR STATE resident or have any nexus via tax, property etc applications-registrations to get letter they can't find any, then demand they put that data in the police 'puter systems with statement to aid and assist or release with "have a nice day", unless someone or some property harmed by me. A Commando can be operated in quite fashion not to attract attention but for its two wheels carrying a potential criminal to fine and jail record.

Nothing to report regarding Commandos at the moment, but a nice new (to me) BSA A65 bottom end is awaiting my attention so that my previously stuck-engined basket case can finally become my first roadworthy BSA big twin in the next few weeks!

Yay and me too, always thought I was 'special' never understood tattoos, from more than two foot away they all look lke crap anyway :shock: (this is where I run away and hide from all the rufty tufty tattooed bikies)

Don't forget that bad laws are broken by good people, so all this anti biker rubbish in Oz should soon fizzle out, and all us non conformists can breathe again.

I never get fussed about police or politicians. I was riding bikes on public roads in the late fifties in Victoria. In those days as now, the political conservatives always played the law and order card, because they have little else to offer. There was a concerted effort to put motorcycles off the road, common practice was an on the spot roadworthy check and a fine. So if you were out riding and saw a motorcycle cop, you grabbed the brake and headed straight for the kerb. If you saw cops in a police car, you simply out-ran them. The current problem is technology, you cannot escape. I need my licence, so the only motorcycling I do is road racing. Even off-road is regulated to a stand-still.
If you take a step back and look at the police, politicians and bikie gangs - who are the crooks ? If you look at all the news items separately you get one picture, however association of ideas gives you another. Who is paying whom for what ?
I spend a lot of time on political discussion forums these days, I'm old and I'm angry. 'The system runs on bullshit', however we must keep up appearances.

Crooks and bullies cross all races, cults and cultures but the biggest badest have badges and fake oaths. As for the 14 amendment, the Radical Republicans used it to bring all American people into status of "colored under law persons" aka "colored persons", ie: legal artificial persons created under color of law, like corporations, associations, trusts, partnerships or gov't entity. Nothing to do with pigmentation but everything to do with natural rights vs civil rights. Look up "color of law". Also helps to understand what the fake US Inc. gov't/banksters puppets mean by equal rights vs the same rights. A gold coin marked "One Dollar" is equal to a U$D dollar bill for taxes and utility bills and bank deposits but they sure aren't the same. Southern people mis treated blacks badly after Lincoln's War so good reasons Union sent troops in to protect them but did it more for the long term to keep the preamble people of the posterity suppressed rather than elevate free'd slaves to same level under Public Law. Persons can only be allowed to vote, like an opinion poll that can and has been over ridden, while free people are known as electors and final deciders by jury. I am mentored about daily by various black dudes, Moores and just plain brave old bucks learning to fight the same battles though corrupt system. We have a saying among the deeper thinking bunch of litigators, To free the white man we must free the black people first. I got down and dirty with every race and always boils down to same ole thing, it don't matter how close we all get just watch your month and play fair. In the end its a biblical scale battle of good vs evil and all races are the enemy if they are not made dependent on the powers that be. That is what I think Bundy meant. What I don't understand is how the New South Wales politicians ever allowed the Independent Commission on Crime and Corruption to become established. The proceedings are on TV, and if you read between the lines you can see connections in a lot of strange places. Most of this stuff about bikies is simply a 'look over there' beat-up. It probably fools some voters, however that will not be the case for much longer. A lot of the slime is becoming exposed to the light. Actually it becomes quite funny when our leader gets up on TV and claims 'they are honourable men'. He's done that about three times of late.

Alan maybe you should spend less time in the political complaining forums and more on the legal/law history and action forums. What ya are running into on how this or that commission gets to exist w/o seeming any law basis, is the original Gov't established by the people was converted from Gov't into private corporation which the people don't really have a say in. You can look into how Orginals peoples were/are treated and land taken over by pure force and legal fraud to find how gov't is just the front for banksters and their hired agents to profit and dominate their interestes and no one else. We went through the Easy Rider bad image attack on sight daze back in the late 60's and 70's but they didn't make extra laws against cycles just applied existing Statutes, Codes, Regulations to hunt down and throw book at. Honda with the cheap small cycles did improve public image and last decade or so the popularity of Harleys among professionals that can afford them brought cycle life style into main stream and business money flow so just part of everyday traffic ticketing and dodging.
