While doing my usual norton girl search on google I found this, which I found pretty interesting, and had not seen before...
The indian norton

An indian one off prototype using a 750 commando engine.
You can read more about the specs here www.indianchiefmotorcycles.com/1970bike.htm, but there's not a lot of info. The bike before it says 69 and the bike after says 76 so somewhere during commando production.

   say no more :!:

The bike looks more like Atlas vintage, the front brakes look like mechanical disks.

Definitely Atlas. This was another of the Floyd Clymer, Tartarini framed Brit/Italian marriages to run the Indian name. The Indian/Enfield and Indian/Velocette were probably the most popular. A friend of mine had an Indian/Velo.

Mechanical discs by Compagnalo?
Bicycle brakes??????????????

Hi , those brakes look similar to the MV 600 ones launched somewhere in 1968......listening to the testers they were poor, but were the first to be seen on a road bike......... (AFAK)

If it work, why not use it?

For anyone who knows about bicycles, look at the front brakes on the Honda and wonder why it took so long to get the same type of brakes on bicycles :!: the RC115 dates back to the sixties
