Sunday April 23, 2017 from 10AM to 1PM our annual event "The Gathering of the Nortons" is at Washington Crossing Park River Rd, Washington Crossing, PA. Last year hundreds of cool bikes, including 65 of the finest Nortons in the Delaware Valley.

Ok whos going? I've met several of you there in the past and hope to see you all again soon. I'm not taking the Commando this year as I've less than 100mi on the topend repair but I'll take one of the other bikes. It'll be weird not being part of the inner circle of Nortons. Still its a great event and looking forward to it.

I'll be there!
I can't think of a better break in period than a couple hundred mile ride from NYC to Bucks County PA?
We can fix that.

Well the guys I ride with are pretty spirited and it's usually hammer and tongs the whole way down. The Commando has done great in the past. It keeps up but I don't want to subject it to 80mph just yet.

+1.
Two hour ride for me. I don't feel like getting wet in 50 degree weather

Im still going. Keep an eye out for the white Superduke R that'll be mine

I guess the Norton gods smiled on us this year. In what seems like a week of rain almost every day, Sunday turned out to be a beautiful day.
Another great turn out this year. I would like to extend my thanks to the DVNR's for putting on the event. My son took a lot of pictures so hopefully he will give me some to post soon.

Deets55 - I saw your bike and I think I've seen it before parked at the NJMP vintage races in south Jersey.
Speirmoor - Couldn't find your white Ducati. I'm not up on my Ducatis anymore but I had a 1966 160cc Monza Jr when I was 16 or 17.

It is very hard to find anyone anymore. It's a huge event. After a while my legs stop working and it all becomes a blur.

Stolen picture of the far end of Norton Row. Mine's the orange one. Usually there is another orange Commando (a '71) but it wasn't there this year. The 1970 purple one next to me was super nice.

See you next year. Maybe we can work out a time/place to have a mini-gathering.

I saw your Orange Commando Batrider. Its not hard to miss! Beautiful bike. I had my KTM SuperDuke R there not my Ducati. Deets55 snagged a pic of it he reckons and will post it later.
We should do an AccessNorton meetup for sure next year. Name tags or any other ideas to bring the herd together? Maybe all meet @Noon by the organizers stand?

An amazing turn out and spectacular weather.
Not as many Norton's as in previous years but certainly no shortage of vintage other iron. 8)
Ran into Russ who I missed last year. Great catching up with you my friend.
Hard to believe I've been coming to this event for 10 years now.
Wouldn't miss it for the world. By far the best Norton event in our area.
An Access Norton Forum member identifier would be a good idea so we could put a face with a Norton in the future.
Good Idea Speirmoor!
Well we have 12 more months to work out the logistics.

John,
I talked to my son this morning, unfortunately he didn't get any shots of your Super Duke. Guess we have to have another Gathering this week :D
Russ,
Yes, that was me at NJMP. I see your bike every year at the Gathering and always admire it, it's a good looking machine. It's funny how most of the Norton's wind up in the same spot every year. It's almost like assigned seating.

FWIW I usually wear an Access Norton tee shirt, but the last couple of years I had a jacket on for the first couple of hours.

I saw a guy with his back to me and it was an access Norton shirt.
Possibly you Pete?
Marshal

If it was some old guy with glasses :P , it was probably me. I didn't see anyone else with one of those shirts on.
