Just a heads up that at some time over the next 12-18 months I will be finishing.

After over 40 years I have had enough and I am off to warmer climes.

Hopefully somebody will take on the business (there is money to made after all) and
I might still do a bit from Spain if I can work out the right deals with local agents.

Hi Andy
We all got to stop at sometime in our life and I wish you well, I better order a new chain for my primary in the new year, anyway there is more to life than working.

You are all alright for 12 months........then panic.

Hopefully some brave sole will take it on.

Good luck with your retirement, Andy. I got fed up of all the travelling in my Boeing job (over 600,000 frequent flier miles on 12 different airlines in 15 years). They wouldn't assign me to a different job, so I bagged it 3 weeks before my 58th birthday. That was 17 years ago and I've enjoyed every minute of it.

We moved about 60 miles further north, still in Washington State. The only real difference is less rainfall, about 30% less than where we lived before. Weather and temperature are similar to Cornwall. Anacortes is a small town, about 20,000 population and is in a very scenic area. We're across the street from waterfront homes on a salt-water marina and there's a beach-front park about a 10-minute walk away. I'll either be very sick or wearing a wooden overcoat before we move anywhere else.
