Thanks to IKON and Old Britts - great service

In this day and age, we have all had to deal with bad customer service at some time. I would like to mention 2 suppliers that I deal with that go the extra mile......

IKON. I am lucky enough to live an hour away from the IKON factory in Albury Australia. On several occasions I have had to get shockies modified to fit different bikes, spring rates etc. One call to IKON to let them know I'm comming and they modify what I need while I wait - and only ever charge for the new parts if required. Nothing is too hard or inconvenient for them and the friendly service is exemplary. I use the IKON - used to be KONI - tri-rates on all my bikes. Fantastic product .

Old Britts. Most of use have dealt with old britts at some time. Recently I placed an order but my old credit card details had expired. Ella sent me an email and said.... Peter the card details we have have expired. I know your in a hurry for the parts, so I HAVE SENT THEM TO YOU. Could you please update your credit details when you get a chance. Who gives service like this these days? To send the goods without payment first, halfway across the world . Ella your the best.

Haven't dealt with IKON, but I can second the kudos to Old Britts. And truth be told, I think good customer service is the rule more often than the exception. In the internet age, poor customer service is a prelude to a going-out-of-business sale.

I found RGM to be good. Ordered on Friday evening and arrived on the following Tuesday morning. 12,000 miles.

Wouldnt mind a set of Ikons but at $700.00 plus from the nz agent, its gonna have ta wait.

Fred and Ella from Old Britts are incredibly nice people. They've always helped me out. Their website is also incredibly helpful. It has pictures, diagrams and tech articles that are incredibly informative. I am lucky to live about 20 miles away from them and can get parts through normal mail the next day...
