I don't come here often, but whenever I do, I am so very appreciative that you guys always are willing to help me out. Just saying "Thanks!" yet again.

No problem. It is great tthe wealth of knowlege gathered here.

We should get a gathering of the Milwaukee Area Norton folks together. I should have my Combat sorted soon.

I agree. I do not post often but I do read most threads and search constantly when I am doing something to my bike. I like to see different points of view and there are never a shortage of those around here.

He can stop a Commando from leaking just by.....nevermind - This is a Commando we're talking about.

A somewhat 'local' meet would be good. I'm up for it, and I'd be well pleased to meet anyone who made it!

Although I've long ago given up riding on two wheels, I'd be happy to give advice to any Commando or Starmaker folks in Washington State or British Columbia, based on my time at N-V Wolverhampton. Send a PM if you think I could help.

Note that I wasn't an active rider of the Commando except in testing, and I didn't ride the Stormer in competition. I did ride an elderly, asthmatic 650SS to and from work for a year or so.
