TALON FRONT SPROCKET FOR NORTON 961

Harwood Performance Source in UK is where I got my rear sprockets . With shipping about $50 ea. which I thought was reasonable price. However , the only color they could get at the time in our size was gold. Now you can always buff off the finish to get the polished bright silver look. Now that Norton is back in business , can't you get these from them in polished or black ? As far as the front sprocket goes , we tried to get a bulk order together for 10 front sprockets but COVID put a stop on that. And now that Norton is in business again , it is likely TALON won't ship to us now . Have to order fronts from Norton ? Richard Pearce was trying to spearhead this order maybe we can still get them ?

I asked Norton and as you said, there not shipping anything yet due to covid. I just received a new license plate bracket for my Domi naked and it’s been changed to a new design that will not work with my bike at all and Marie said that’s how they are now made and no new orders to be made as of yet.

DUBYA USA is a customer and distributor for TALON Uk. They can get the sprockets but there may be an 8 week delay because of batch ordering to keep the shipping costs down. I have ordered 3 front sprockets so put your order in now. This is mainly for members in the USA. If you are in UK or Europe go to Ollie Thiel or find a TALON dealer like HPS Harwood Performance Source.

Mmmmmm! Think I’ll order a set too, although it may be a few years before I need them. Don’t dislike the blingy gold rear, to go with my black CR (black and gold - clearly the superior colour option!:oops:)!
 
I think TALON is now able to ship sprockets !

The new version is for Euro 4 bikes with abs. Not only doesn’t it fit, the brackets welded on ends and tapped wrong and also doesn’t bolt to the swing arm.

my original has minor rust under the clear coat. I’m just going to chemical strip it with zip strip and remove the minor rust and re coat clear.

I’d be interested in a few front sprockets...not sure where things are on this though. I’ll give em a bell next week.

I was last week at Ollie´s shop.
I can have a look into the production department.
What I have seen was very good and reassuring.
Ollie´s stuff have produced 100 front sprockets for the 961 and some other improved parts.
I was with Carina in his warehouse and I was realy impressed on the amount of spare parts for the 961.
So normally should the supply of spare parts no problem.

Yep, placed an order with Ollie and have a spare here now. Gtreat service. He had everything I needed!
