Is there a better way to run the taillight wires other than along the frame? I see some people drill a hole in the frame. What are the two holes in the fender with grommets for? It says for wires in manual. I have seen where taillight wires run under the fender also. Can someone send me some pics on how you ran your wires? Thanks

I don't even think those holes should be there as it doesn't appear to be the correct guard/fender for that model? Or is this a new one?

The holes are in the old one. Ordered a new one from Old Britts. Assumed the new one would have the same holes. Thanks

Here is a pic of the existing fender. Really thinking it was off another type bike.

Yes, I think so, as the standard item would not have those two extra holes.

You can get a new stainless rear fender from Old Britts if you want one. As for wiring through the hoop, just drill a hole behind the upper shock mount on the inside or underside of the hoop. Then drill another at the back of the hoop where the wires can exit into the taillight housing. Just be sure to smooth sharp edges and pull wires thru slowly. Credit to Matt at CNW for this advice.

I ran mine along the U brace but put them underneath where they're hid by the tube... supported the harness with 3 small tie wraps. You wouldn't know it's there unless you looked closely.
